Blame your heater for your love handles

A group of British researchers believe warmer room temperatures are contributing to ballooning obesity rates.

The analysts, mostly England-based scientists, reported in an article, printed last month, in the journal Obesity Reviews that excessive exposure to warm indoor temperatures may cause us to lose the natural fat-burning tissue, known as brown fat that we activate when we’re cold.

It seems that all you need to do to drop a few pounds during the winter months is turn off the heat. Instead of cranking that central heating unit, you can try the following:
-Put on a sweater
-Run in place
-Snuggle with a buddy
-Cook something (I hear there's heat in the kitchen)
